Produced by Mike Moran who has worked with such luminaries as Queen, Freddie Mercury, and Annie Lennox to name but a few. Mike has produced some of the world’s bestselling albums, he also wrote huge hits including “Don’t stop me now” and “Barcelona” His magnificent production ability has brought the best out in Tommy for a wonderful recording and his vocal is incredible even after 25 years of touring and recordings.
The West’s Awake has 14 tracks all written by Irish writers with one very special song written by Brendan Graham “I Rest In You” which features as an orchestral version and an acoustic version with just Tommy accompanied by Mike Moran on Piano.

On 30th March 2012 Tommy lost both his parents and for several months after the shock he chose not to tour or performs live. During this time Tommy released his autobiography after one of his toughest years to date. The influence his parent had on his career and the encouragement inspired the book and the recording of the album “Begin” a collection of emotional heart wrenching songs inspired by the influences he received throughout his career from his parents and the feeling of helplessness when that part of his world changes forever, a fitting and personal tribute to his beloved Mother and Father”.
Tommy’s music has helped and inspired 1000’s for people going through difficult times. His music has the ability to comfort, encourage, grieve, overcome, strengthen sooth and inspire as its powerful emotion is featured in every word.
After an eventful 25 years career that has many times been in ruins in 1997 he lost the release of his first album when he broke his neck in a road collision to when he abandoned his music career because of total frustration with the music business and took time out working with GOAL in Sudan, but he always returned to what he loves best, singing and performing. Now content with where he is in the world of entertainment and having experienced success when he took control of his own destiny he releases another brilliant musical album for his loyal fans.
